Food was amazing , I had the 3 protein dinner , jerk chicken , oxtails and curry goat . Portions was very good and I could not eat it all. Steamed veggies was also well seasoned .

During my visit, I experience good customer service; employees are kind, helpful with navigating for a Vegan option, and seem to be well busy in the kitchen. The Vegetable Patty is sweeter than savory though not so sweet. The crust is far drier than the interior though tasty (though flaky-dry-crispy). The eatery has indoor seating. Chill vibes. The establishment takes different forms of payment.

A MUST TRY!!! Absolutely adore the "build-your-own" concept applied to patties! Obsessed with my oxtail patty, so flavorful and satisfying~~~ portion is more than enough as a meal for me Surprised to find that, besides the food, they also bake their own pastries fresh! The chocolate chip cookie has a nice homey vibe. The staff and the owner are all super sweet. The store is very clean and tidy. There is ample space for seats, so is comfortable :) Can't wait to visit again!

I saw this place as I was driving by and decided to just come in for a beef patty. I can honestly say I haven’t had a patty that good in years! It was so fresh and flaky and the restaurant itself is spotless. Nothing beats good food at a clean restaurant!

⭐ 5/5 Experience! I absolutely love going to Sweet Jamaica Cafe, it always gives family-friendly vibes every time I visit. I always order the oxtail, and it’s a solid 10 out of 10 — highly recommend! The last time I went, there was a small mix-up with my order, but the owner, Dawn, immediately fixed the issue. I really appreciate great customer service, and that’s exactly what you’ll find here. Ordered to go, oxtails, curry goat and beef patties. Everything was hot and perfectly seasoned. Beef patty was just spicy enough and crispy, both the goat and oxtails were incredibly succulent and the flavor was incredible, my girlfriend and I didn't speak while we were eating because it was too good to stop and talk, the rice and peas were so satisfying and addicting as well. Will absolutely return!

My friend and I ordered oxtail mac and cheese,curry goat, oxtail and cabbage. The patties were flaky, well seasoned, fresh..the cabbage cooked with red bell pepper and carrots were cooked to perfection and the oxtail mac and cheese was so delicious. This is the best place to get delicious Jamaican food! Besides the food being so so good,,the service was very good and the people were nice and friendly, a good vibe place.This is definitely my go to spot from now on.

Absolutely delicious. One of best tasting restaurants in Montclair, a town full of good restaurants… The oxtail with rice and beans is perfect. My wife is a pretty selective eater and she loved it. The jerk chicken was great too. Everything was properly spiced and portions were good. We’ll be back for sure.
